🌎Haladjian Mining: Case Study in the core of Africa! 🙌 At one of our client sites in Ivory Coast, one of our welding experts successfully completed the conversion of a lip on a CAT 6020B bucket. A technical challenge met with precision and expertise, ensuring optimal performance for our client.
🔹 Technical Steps of the Project:
â—¾ Lip/Bottom preparation: 120/30 mm thick, the preparation will ensure excellent welding quality.
â—¾ Chamfer filling: Methodology mastered by our welding expert to ensure a perfect union between lip and sidewalls for maximum strength.
â—¾ Finishing: the final passes are meticulously applied to ensure maximum strength. The new welded lip is finally ready to face the extreme conditions it will encounter…
🔹 Fitting and Welding of the New ESCO Lip:
â—¾ ESCO lip assembly: an important step in the pre-welding process.
â—¾ Fitting the new ESCO Lip / Bottom / Sidewalls: the sidewalls will be installed after the lip that will have been assembled on the bottom.
â—¾ Welding: this part follows a procedure specific to Haladjian in order to avoid during bucket work any cracking that may appear during contact with the mineral material.
