Our mining welding team, based in West Africa, is currently working on a fleet conversion. The deal with one of our customers is to convert 17 of his mining buckets. A client that has put his confidence into our mining experts that operate in many west African countries. Our team’s mining expertise allows us to provide fleet conversion services on many mining equipment to increase miningproduction performance and durability.
Our experts have already made the first WA800 bucket conversion with success. Our mining experts converted a lip with the Esco 65SV2 lip systems. A shroud system that sets high standards in underground LHD applications with a sophisticated and well-designed lip configuration.
This underground mining lip system increases the shroud lifespan by 66 % and generates up to 25% reduction in operating costs of ground engaging tools. The sharper profile of the Ultra Edge Esco lip system improves penetration capacities of all underground mining machinery and reduces energy use in the long term. Who is she? 🕵️ Chaimae has a high level diploma in International Business and has decided to put her skills at the service of the mining industry. In our organization she’s managing our Area managers trips and monitoring our customers portfolio. She therefore takes care of our mining experts that are spread all around Africa and countries like Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, Mali, and Mauritania for example. She also deals with management and logistics issues related to the assistance and supply we provide to the mining industry directly on site. She is also in charge of the budgets and manages all our tenders. And finally, Chaimae coordinates our logistic with our bounded wharehouses in Burkina Faso and Senegal. Recently a client missioned our team of welding experts to work on their mining equipment. The goal was to proceed to the conversion of Sandvik LH621 underground buckets. The mission took place in our mining welding workshop where our experts worked with all the equipment and support needed.

The planning of this fleet conversion was left to us.

All buckets’ lips assembly installation by our expert’s welders flying team.
A 2-year contract for the supply of GET, cutting edges (dozers, graders) and undercarriage with setting up of a consignment stock on site.
And a full-time technician on site for inspections of buckets, undercarriage and for stock management.
